In Turkish Standards TS -485,There are two important criteria for dried apricot,moisture and so2 contents.
Sulphured Dried Apricots: it's treated with so2 in order to provide color retention and longer shelf life,this type changes from light yellow to orange.
Natural Dried Apricot: differs from sulphured apricot in color, the color of this type changes from light brown to dark brown .
Dried Diced Apricot: 3-5MM ,5-8MM , 8-10MM
